DR ABC, now I remember being taught this as a child, it is a great thing to learn and know!

In any First Aid situation this is the most important thing you need to know and learn.

D = Danger - check for danger! you don't need any more casualties

R = Response - Shout, touch, tap move around and check for response

Shout for help = This is where you need help, shout for bystanders so they can get first aid kits and other materials you need.

A = Airways - Check their airways, with one hand on the forehead and two fingers under the chin tilt the head back to open the airway.

B = Breathing - Get your ear down to their mouth with your head looking down the body, look, listen, and feel for breathing.

C = CPR - Start CPR as soon as possible, make sure you call 999 or 112.

Knowing this and knowing what you need to do will help you in any situation!
