CPR is a great skill to learn that will stay with you forever. What CPR does is keeps the blood and oxygen pumping around the body.
How to do CPR! Well when you have checked there not breathing the first thing you need to do is call 999 or 112. Use your speaker phone if you have to but get help to you as quick as you can, another thing you can do is ask someone to get a Defib. Defib’s are the greatest thing to have ever! They are lifesavers!!
Once you have phoned for help you need to start CPR. With your palm you need to press down on the sternum a third of the body down. You need to do 30 chest presses and then 2 breaths. After each breath check to see there chest is rising and lowering so you know air is going in. If you don't fancy doing any breaths then you can carry on doing straight chest presses. continue this 30:2 until you can't do it anymore or until someone who is qualified tells you to stop. The pace you want to go is 100-120 presses per minute. Thing of Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe, or Toploader - Dancing in the Moonlight if you go on the beat of these songs that will be the right pace.
Here is an old video, which is great by Vinnie Jones, with this video though the pace is slower than you should. so change the song :)
